Chris Cook 

VP of Operations

Since 2015 Chris Cook has been a crucial piece to Stellar’s success. Chris has held several positions with Stellar including Sales Manager, Project Manager, and his current position, VP of Operations. As VP of Operations, his role includes supporting the sales and production efforts on large loss opportunities, while also working directly with the President on pivotal initiatives.

With over 24 years of experience in the construction industry, Chris’ vast knowledge of the industry has helped him play a direct role in Stellar’s increased success. Before beginning his career with Stellar, Chris has worked as a construction manager for a home builder, and a sales consultant for a roofing company.  He also holds a degree from Texas A&M in Construction Science.

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Chris moved to Colorado for 5.5 years to help grow Stellar. He has since moved to the Houston area where Stellar is based.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife (his high school sweetheart!!) and his 3 children. He is very committed to his faith and family and enjoys spending time outdoors and watching any kind of sports.

Joe Deane

President

Joe Deane joined Stellar Commercial Roofing in January of 2017. In his position as President, Joe works closely with the leadership team to understand and grow business strategies and casts a forward thinking vision of how Stellar can service our clients at the highest level.
 
Before his tenure at Stellar, Joe held positions with a large financial services provider and a top 5 major oil company. He was strategic in helping start and grow a commercial heavy-duty division during his time in the oil industry and was able to triple annual sales revenues in 5 years with his company prior to.
 
A graduate from Stephen F. Austin, Joe grew up in Alvin, TX and has since moved to Fort Worth. When he is not keeping an eye out for major hail storms, he enjoys hanging out with his beautiful wife and kids, golfing and attending any and every live sporting event.

Chris Somoge

VP of Production

With 32 years of industry knowledge, Chris Somoge is a crucial part to Stellar Commercial Roofing. Chris joined Stellar in August of 2012. Since joining he has held various positions such as operations manager and VP of Production, his current role. Chris oversees all Stellar’s production, ensures safety is top priority, and assists sales in technical closings. During his time at Stellar, Chris as accumulated several awards including, Outstanding Sales Performer, Rising Star Award and the Stellar Award.
 
Chris has always wanted a career in the construction industry. In his 10 years at Stellar, he has been a part of all the major hail storms to come through the US. The growth of Stellar really excites him and he says he is lucky to have found Stellar.
 
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, as they are his #1 support team. He also enjoys golfing and anything having to do with water, particularly scuba diving!
